Bandwidth Monitor shows VPN client traffic as upload instead of download

Hi community,

I am running 380.58 on a 68U. I noticed a strange problem with the bandwidth monitor in the adaptive qos page. Whenever I am downloading from a local host using the router VPN client, the download traffic is shown under the upload gauge instead of the download gauge. It only happens with VPN traffic. Is this perhaps a bug?

Any suggestions and/or insights greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
