Hi,

I am on Merlins 372.31 and have been having problems with connect to internet on my Samsung C5500 bluray player ( for Netflix).

When ever I reset the router I can the connect the Bluray to internet but after turning off the player and turning it back on again the player shows in the setup that it has a local connection, but no internet.

I have found that if I goto "NETWORK MAP", then hit the "CLIENTS" button and "Refresh" the "CLIENT STATUS" (even though the bluray still shows up in the list) the player will then instantly connect.

What up with this ?

Thanks guys !

try giving the blue ray player a static IP address, any device on my network that is not a computer I give a static IP address to avoid connection problems.

Static IP doesnt help

I did try a static IP address however like written above, after turning Bluray back on, it has a local connection to the router but no internet.

Anyone have any idea. Does the router not refresh the client status on its own every now and then ??

Thanks
