There’s a strange bug from the ASUS iOS app that reports it’s unable to communicate with ASUS servers and was wondering if there’s a way to remove the false error?

Merlin doesn't create the app or provide support for it. But you know that already from when you asked a similar question a year ago.

Even still I don’t recall seeing this error but I guess it makes sense as Merlin blocks the update communicating back to ASUS servers

It's not a false error. Why would you want it to check for an update from Asus, when using Merlin's customised firmware.

Merlin has auto updates disabled via app/router admin (I think*), so hence why the updates are done manually.

This is likely to prevent any issues, etc from cropping up.

* I'm not 100% certain on this tho.
