Can't login a new tablet to 87U

Is there a trick I don't know about? I click on the ssid and enter password. Won't connect. Very frustrating. Is there a setting inside router I'm unaware of?

Have tried Guest network, too.

Am using 380.58

Is your new tablet up to date with its firmware (os)?

Does your ssid or the password contain any special characters?

Have you tried resetting the tablet's network settings?

I would suggest upgrading to 380.59, reset to factory defaults and then minimally and manually configure the router to secure it and connect to your ISP, in addition to using new ssid's (alphanumeric only) and you can use the same password if it is alphanumeric already.

Thank you, thank you both for that great info. I used a password without any trick characters and you will never guess what happened: I'm in!

I have save both threads to Evernote.

Now I understand why someone else in this building can't log in. I will also upgrade to the latest firmware.
