Actiontech announced new Wi-Fi 6 networking products for service providers at CES 2020.

The newest gateway is the T4200M Bonded MoCA 2.5 VDSL WiFi6 Tri-band Residential Gateway that supports fiber-to-the-home (FTTH), fiber-to-the-node (FTTN), fiber-to-the-curb (FTTC), and fiber-to-the-distribution-point (FTTdp/MDU). The T4200M runs a maximum wireless rate of 2.5 Gbps and has MU-MIMO, Smartsteering, and Optim Wi-Fi Management functions, while its secured with WPA, WAP2, WPS3 and MAC address filtering. Interfaces include four GbE ports, one MoCA 2.5 port and two USB 3.0 ports.

Actiontec’s website also announced a Wi-Fi 6 version of its T3270 Fiber Gateway Bonded VDSL2/ADSL2+ GigE, however the posted specs were not updated at the time of this writing.

The Actiontec WEB7100 WiFi 6 802.11ax Network Extender delivers a maximum wireless rate of 2.5 Gbps. Features listed: support of up to 16 SSIDs, Smartsteering, and Optim, security using WPA, WPA2, WPS and MAC address filtering. Physical interfaces include two GbE ports and one GbE WAN port.

Dates of availability weren’t announced, however the Actiontec T4200M and WEB7100 will only be sold through service providers.
