The latest addition to NETGEAR’s Wi-Fi 6 Nighthawk family, the Nighthawk AX6 6-Stream AX5400 WiFi 6 Router (RAX50) combines two-stream 2.4 GHz and four-stream 5 GHz Wi-Fi 6 radios to offer a more affordable option.

The Nighthawk AX6 delivers maximum wireless link rates of 600 Mbps @ 2.4 GHz and 4.8 Mbps @ 5 GHz, powered by a 1.5 GHz triple-core processor backed by 512 MB of RAM and 256 MB of flash memory.

Physical interfaces include five GbE ports (one WAN and four LAN) and a USB 3.0 port. Additional features include management and setup using the Nighthawk App, compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, beamforming, four external antennas, automatic firmware update, guest networking, VPN support and WPA3.

The Nighthawk AX6 6-Stream AX5400 WiFi 6 Router (RAX50) doesn’t have a list price yet, but is scheduled to be available in March 2020.

So this has a Mic build in for voice commands, why? Think I will pass... not sure why so many want surveillance in their house for a small bit of convenience (When it works)

The specs looks fine as long as it supports all the important WiFi6 features

No it doesn’t have a mic. Some functions like enabling guest access can be controlled by Alexa / GA. But it’s not a listener.

Good to know! Still seems like a waste engineering imo.
Maybe it can be a contender for a future router for me then since you wrote that Netgear collaborated with you regarding wifi 6, so maybe they are more committed to provide updates for released products
