A cheapish alternative is to attach a cheap smart managed switch to your e.g. a node TL-SG105E or Netgear GS305E alternative, rather than invest in a GNP node that supports VLAN to Ethernet ports.
Some of us have had issues with the TP-link possibly destabilizing the mesh clients (
@visortgw) others (
@Seth Harman) no issues.
I have had issues (documented in this forum) with a mesh node that supports GNP AND VLANs (see below,ie) causing client dropouts, so I disabled that VLAN to node Ethernet port capability until hopefully the next round of FW updates.
