This script is running on all my routers to keep record of connectivity and jitter. Very grateful for all the contributions from Jack Yaz!

Wondering of there is a way to make the monitoring notifications trigger when the ping notification threshold falls BELOW a value. So instead of getting notify if ping worsens, i want to be notified if it improves. Would I just need to change on line 1204 from ">" to "<"?

As to why, I have dual WAN and want to know when a failover event happens. My secondary connection has lower ping to my target IP then the primary.

Since I just recently enabled email notifications, can you also tell me if the notification emails will be sent every ping run cycle where the specified condition is met? I have 1min test interval ping so that can get noisy fast. If yes, is there a way to setup to send no more than 5 emails per hour for example?

Hey!

I just discovered this world of customization with the Merlin firmware, i'm really enjoying trying things. But i'm a big noob when it comes to scripts and such and don't want to mess with anything that is working quite perfectly.

I looked at all this thread and didn't find a way to "restart" Connmon. I need this because i think that there is a bug with the configuration file. I was trying some different times for scheduled tests (through the webUI) and until i restart the router my schedule does not kick in.

Is there a way to restart the script or something so i don't have to reboot the router every time i want to change the schedule?

Thank you very much!

EDIT: forgot to give some information for context.
I'm running the latest Merlin firmware (388.1) on a GT-AXE11000.

Hello.

Recently about a week ago connmon started to fail with the following messages

I uninstall it and installed it again though the installer showed some "invalid command" and "segmentation fault" messages. Once re-installed it kept failing

I'm running an RT-AX88U with Merlin 388.1

Thanks in advance.
