Very old thread, but I've been trying to find this out too, so I can power my AX86U with USB-PD. My power brick is the ADP-45ZE B. Every source online says the connector for that is 4.0x1.35 but for my unit at least that's not the case. I bought a 4.0x1.35 adapter and it didn't fit. So I started trying every barrel connector I had lying around and the one that worked was a 5.5x2.5mm. My unit was purchased in the UK.

So depending on country or even batch, you may have a 4.0x1.35, a 5.5x2.5 or something else. May be worth investing in some calipers to know for sure.

AX86U DEAD

Hey guys I have a Ax86U it was plugged into a surge protector lighting hit and it seems to of bricked the router. I tried another power cord I had laying around to see if it would at least power on. It did power on, the adapter isn’t the correct 19V 2.37A 45W. I need this router on for work...

As I said in the linked post above, there are only two sizes. Measure yours to find out which one you have.
