I changed from OpenDNS to Quad9 a while back. Just noticed that my Asus app still shows the old OpenDNS settings. I double checked my 56u and I see no reference to the old settings. Tried deleting app and reinstalling but no change. Is there something I need to do with the 56u that isn't obvious to a noob? Seems like I changed all the values where needed. Because I'm on 384.6 I entered Quad9 into a "Custom" slot after putting Quad9 settings in the primary and secondary boxes.

Thanks in advance.

I'm wondering now after furthur investigation if the app just displays the service chosen on the DNS page, there are no custom options there. It may not be actually "reading" the router's real values at all.
