I got this deal (CGM with 512GB SSD) for $179. I was going to pay $199 for no storage, so it was nice to pay $20 less and get a 512GB SSD.

This storage is used for specific UniFi features. In your case with 2x home routers as APs (from another thread) you get the 512GB SSD, but you can't use it for anything in this configuration.
