Difference between ...cferom_pureubi.w and ..._pureubi.w

After compiling firmware for my router (AXE11000) I get 2 output files: ...cferom_pureubi.w and ..._pureubi.w
The one having cferom in the name is larget than the other one.

What is the difference between these 2 files?

I can’t speak to the differences, but Merlin’s build-all script discards the cferom file after the build.

Yes I am building manually with "make" and not using the build script.

I also search in the forum and it seems the cferom is Broadcom firmware.

Question is should I also flash cferom or not? What is the proper way and why?

Don't use the cferom version.
