Draytek 2920n - Dual Wan Router. QOS help

jesseasi

New Around Here
So I decided to give the Draytek 2920 a try.

We have two ISP.
Cable - 50mb/10mb
2WireDSL - 18mb/1.5

I have both WANs running doing load balancing.

Our issue:
We connect to an Asterisk VOIP server and have about 30 VOIP phones here in our network.

Our old router - an inexpensive Asus with Tomato Firmware would handle QOS flawlessly. Large file transfers up or down would never interfere with our VOIP.

From what I can tell - and I am not a Tomato expert - is that our VOIP provider setup a priority to a specific IP (our Asterisk server).

I tried to do this with the DrayTek - and so far no luck. I am getting complaints about callers not being able to hear us on the phone, echo issues, long lags, etc.

Anyone here with experience on how to setup VOIP QOS specifically for an Asterisk server?

Here is what I have done so far.
Bandwidth Mangement - Quality of Service
for Class 1 - I gave it a name of VOIP - and TAG packets as EF Class

I then have ACT checked
Selected IPv4
Local Address - Any
Remote Address - specific IP of our VOIP server.
DiffServ CodePoint - EF Class
Service Type - ANY (maybe I need to be more specific)

For WAN 1 - I have Direction BOTH with 25% Set to Class 1. 1% to both Class 2, and Class 3 (nothing setup for these), then Others set at 73%
For WAN 2 - I have Direction BOTH with 50% set to Class 1. (This connection is slower so I thought it should higher) and the rest set to 1%.

I could really use any help on this one.

There is also another section in this called "Enable the first priority for VOIP SIP/RTP" - I have this check as well. Maybe this is causing a conflict?

Appreciate it.

Thanks.
