Dumb Instant Guard question time...

Does Instant Guard work when connected through mobile/cell network or is it somehow just for wifi connections.
All the answers that I can find to this just mention wifi.

Instant Guard is VPN connection to your router. You have to use it outside of your network.

It works over cell network too, I used it yesterday the whole day.

What I was trying to say was if I was in work, for example, using my phone and mobile data and turn Instant Guard on it's still connecting to the router thorugh the VPN?

Doesn't matter where you are. If you turn on Instant Guard, it will create VPN tunnel from you device to your router.

I think you also need to enable access from WAN for it to work so it’s not actually very secure.

You’re better off spinning up an OpenVPN connection
