EnGenius’ ENS620EXT is an AC1300 Wave 2 indoor/outdoor access point/bridge designed for SMBs and large residences. Encased in a IP55 rated shell, the new AP incorporates a fair degree of weatherproofing along with the latest in wireless AC networking, including beamforming and MU-MIMO.

Maximum link rate for the ENS620EXT is 400 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps at 5 GHz, while providing up to 3000 square feet of coverage with 27 dBm output power and four antennas, per EnGenius.

Other features include Link Aggregation using the AP’s two Gigabit Ethernet ports, three modes of operation (AP, client bridge, WDS – AP/bridge/station), PoE, and compatibility with EnGenius’ EZ Controller software for multi-AP deployments.

The EnGenius ENS620EXT Outdoor 11ac Wave 2 AC1300 Access Point is available now in North America with an MSRP of $229.
