No, no and no, please read my first post. Nothing like that happened, I want to perform a full hard reset including clearing the settings from the router's memory.
Well, something happen, or is happening, that is preventing the standard hard factory reset or the router GUI reset w/restore to default checkbox checked from erasing the current router settings. Try the CFE recovery. No, no and no, please read my first post. Nothing like that happened, I want to perform a full hard reset including clearing the settings from the router's memory.

Many of the addon's have been extensively tested with the 3006.102.x firmware and many issues have been ferreted out and fixed. Other addons have been found not to work and have been depreciated for use on the 3006.102.x firmware. There is a large thread at the following link (if you haven't seen it already) where people were testing the various addon's on 3006.102.x:This happened after installing the Skynet add-on. With all due respect to the authors of the add-ons, but they have not been tested with the new software.
^^^^^^ This. While rare, could be a hardware failure has cropped up and is preventing a proper reset of the firmware data.
SSH into the router and run:HELP, HELP! How to delete these saved settings from memory?
I restored the original firmware several times and cleared the settings several times. I thought everything was fine. Unfortunately, these broken scripts are still causing problems, and the router remembers all the settings. I'm getting frustrated![]()
rm -fr /jffs/
sync
ls -alR /jffs/
Try to use chrome/brave browser with development tools active (press F12) then on network tab click on Disable cache. It should prevent you from getting the same sceen after reloading again and again. I reported it here but nobody cares. Then, if you want to read the jffs folders, you need to enable jffs in menu first and restart the router. It is disabled after factory reset, you can read it, write it, but it is like a dummy device, nothing is stored/changed after router restart. To reset the router, it also works to change it's mode to aimesh node, restart and change it back to main router. It always remove everything from jffs/scripts folder. If even after that jffs/scripts folder is not empty, your flash memory is broken, you may try to RMA.But I didn't have these problems with my old RT-AC86U. It always remembered nothing after a factory reset.
And here's some crap, how come after clearing* my own settings it remembers everything, and I can't change it.
Every change doesn't show up after reloading, only after I clear the browser. It's the same on two computers and different browsers. Are the saved settings screwed up by Skynet?
How to remove this sh..., simple question
