It seems that virginmedia are now blocking adguard by default when using its websafe filter.
For me I use virgin dns and adguard through a pi.
I noticed that adguard started coming back with unable to update, and would not download from linux.
After a bit of research I discovered virgin is blocking it.
Simple fix, just white list in your websafe filter.
