FlexQoS Gaming Device Priority Question for Dave

I just noticed that when I have adaptive/flex on then Gear Accelerator Gaming Device priority automatically switches on (although I have no devices under this menu) (AX86U)

If I switch off the tab for Gaming Device priority then adaptive / flex disables.

Is this normal behaviour, I thought optimal was to have game device priority off when using flex?
