Going to turn cable in, use wireless only, question.

My cable modem from Xfinity is upstairs in a room. Once I turn all the cable boxes etc in, can I move it downstairs to the living room, where the main cable box was plugged into? Or , do I need techs to come out and ensure signal is strong enough etc.
Currently have xfinity blast, 75 down, 12 down approximately on my speedtest. I use a Archer C7v2 router attached to xfinitys Arris AC modem.

I may hold off now. Xfinity said I will owe a early termination fee immediately upon returning equipment.
