New Around Here
Hi,

I just wanted to seek advice. I started having problems with my router when the new firmware was installed (no problems before). First the second 5Ghz interface disappeared (the router didn't even show a channel for it in the 5G-2 menu), I sent feedback to ASUS but got no reply. Then the worst happened, namely now none of my devices is able to connect to WiFi (neither to 2.4Ghz nor the remaining first 5Ghz). SSID's are visible, but there is a connection error (and I tried numerous devices of various manufacturers). I restarted the router a few times, reset to factory settings, uploaded the firmware in rescue mode, noting helped.
Just want to say that WAN and LAN work, so I get connection through LAN for wired devices, this works perfectly. The problem is WiFi connectivity only.

Has anybody else had the same problem? Is there any "deeper" reset that can be done to bring it to the original settings?

I think I will return the router to the shop as faulty, as I cannot imagine going through such drama.

Please kindly advise.
