GT-AX11000 ISP DHCP WAN not working error

Zai

New Around Here
Hi guys

It appears I have some problems with my GT-AX11000 Every 8-10 days I have a crash of the DHCP Not working. I can log in to the router but there is no connection to my ISP. Reboot the modem does not fix it, disabling/enabling WAN doesnt work, but as soon as I restart it - it's starts working again
I bought this router from second-hand, so warranty is unfortunately not an option. Person I bought from isn't a scammer, they just bought a newer/better one.

Did re-flash of the FW (hard-wipe'd as well) - tested with the beta and stable version (latest).

There is no particular pattern. Called ISP to double check, but they dont' see any error. And if it happens and I reboot the ISP modem it does not resolve the issue.
My actual setup is
GT-AX11000 (Asus Merlin) - Main
GT-AX-82u (Asus FWoriginal) - AI mesh added on ethernet backhaul.

Only thing running on AX11000 is VPN Director (that's the thing I need it for mostly - route couple devices through VPN that don't have that capability)
If someone could please have a look at the logs shortly after the crash. At this point I'm quite worried I bought a damaged router, or maybe there is some incompatibility...Any advices what I could try to determine what is wrong?

The log is inconclusive. The connection to the internet had already failed by the time the log starts (as indicated by the VPN connection failure). Perhaps try to capture the log closer to the failure point.

Thank you

I did look into the event log and, luckily saved the full log before the failure. According to my machine internet dropped around 23:48-23:50 ( I had logs set to all and debug), so I attached the logs couple minutes prior when it was working fine

Thanks for that additional information. So the VPN client looses its connection at ~23:48. But by that time it had already been restarting itself every few minutes anyway. Perhaps there is a separate issue with the VPN client. I suggest you disable the VPN client for the time being and see if the problem goes away.
