GT-BE98 dual wan with iptv vid

New Around Here
Is there an option to enable Dual WAN with IPTV on the GT-BE98? It works without any problems on the AX88U Pro, but I don't know why they disabled it on the BE98. Is there a workaround? I need this for a PPPoE connection with a VLAN ID (VID) and also need the Dual WAN option. Why can't a top-tier ASUS router do this, while less powerful models handle it easily?

On my AX88U, I use Merlin firmware 3004_388.8_4, and the Dual WAN option works with both IPTV and VID enabled simultaneously. When I configure the same settings on a BE98 (running the latest firmware), I get a message that IPTV will be disabled. The result is that enabling Dual WAN disables the IPTV settings. Similarly, if Dual WAN is enabled and I enable IPTV, it disables Dual WAN.

It's a good thing I haven't switched to firmware 3006_102.4_0 on my AX88 Pro yet, because I'm afraid a similar problem might appear. In any case, I don't understand why this is happening. This limitation has really saddened me.
Is there a way to bypass this? I could put a suitable managed switch before the BE98 router, but that's just another unnecessary device.

Have you managed to figure this out.. I need to do the same thing now.. I need to use VLAN 40 for my Fibre connection using PPPoE, and my secondary WAN is a cable modem with just DHCP.

The following Pop up shows up..

I've been looking to see if there's a way to manually set the VLAN in NVRAM, but I haven't been able to find the right codes..

I tried the following:

nvram set ppp0_vlan_id=40
nvram set ppp0_vlan_tagged=1
nvram set wan0_ppp_vlan_id=40
nvram set wan0_ppp_vlan_tagged=1

but its not working.. and now I can't seem to remove those entries now.

Any suggestions?

It failed. The most expensive model in the offer cannot be used and that's it. It is sad, the more that earlier they can easily.

There should be a way to do this, I've done it before using the AX88U Pro. When Dual WAN is enabled, and you try using the IPTV function, this is the error you get..

There has to be a way to manually force the VLAN to 40 on the WAN interface, and have Dual WAN enabled.. doesn't make sense why you can't.

Explain to Asus. They claim that this is a limitation of equipment. I don't have to write with them anymore. Support asus sucks.
