Guest Network Pro Pi Hole

Quick question, and apologies for the thread hijack.

With the above quoted Pi-hole configuration, if one is using (for example) Cloudflare DNS in WAN settings, should DNSSEC support be enabled?
DNSSEC can be enabled but is not necessary. It does provide DNS security but not encryption.

Generally, with the above described Asus router/Pi-Hole configuration, the clients DNS requests go through Pi-Hole not the router's WAN DNS servers (or any DNSSEC setting you have configured for the WAN DNS).

Right. This would only affect router reboots. I just wondered if it would be recommended or not.

Thanks for the replies.

But it would ensure DNS responses are not hijacked, correct?

Thank you!

That's what I did now: Added my 2 piholes as User Defined DNS 1 and User Defined DNS 2 under DNS Director/Settings, and added my two piholes to the client list below - similar to what is on your screenshot.

How to configure that my Guest Network Pro clients do use these user defined DNS servers now?

My prior post gives the basic setup info.

DNS Director will route Guest Network Pro clients to the User Defined value when you assign that User Defined to the Guest Network Pro entry on DNS Director.
