Hello everyone....I've been gone for quite some time (2+ years) and just pulled out my trusty ol Asus RT-N66U and loaded up Merlins firmware of 380.68_2 and put it into repeater mode. Wuz luvin all the new features of the firmware but.....for some reason when I try to click on the AdvanceConfig page to change my 2ghz and 5ghz channels and modes.....the page keeps reloading and flashing before my eyes. Whatever I try to do it won't stay on that page and I cannot set any advance functions. I'm currently using Firefox 52.4,0 (32-bit).

I probably should have checked what version I was flashing from before just upgrading so quickly:) Also, back then to clear the nvram you went to the following URL (https://192.168.1.1:8443/Main_AdmStatus_Content.asp). I don't believe that's still the case now? Can anyone tell me what the process is now for clearing ur nvram now:) Sorry...I did do a search on this forum but guess I couldn't find the answer. I was going to attempt to restore to factory defaults via the gui interface but wasn't sure if that's my only option at this point:) Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

yes gui based factory reset will work or the reset button, and isn't there a 380.68_4?

So ur sayin you've seen this before?.....I'd hate to do the factory reset and still experience the same issue I guess:( I realize also that the RT-N66U is pretty much end of life probably?

refresh browser clear history, see if that helps cookies as well

Yep..did that....same results...also same issues logging in on my tablet...

That page should not be accessible while in repeater mode, that's why most of the settings on it won't work for you.

The channel cannot be changed in repeater mode anyway - it has to be the same as the source router.

Factory reset clears nvram, puts you back to the defaults for the firmware you're running
