How do I use these devices - Linksys Wi-Fi AC1750 and Wi-Fi Range Extender

jamesbond

New Around Here
Good evening.

This is James Bond, I just moved to the USA recently. The homes are so big here, and I want to improve my Wi-Fi coverage inside and outside. I live on a little farm.

I recently was given a Linksys AC 1750 Wi-Fi Router and a Linksys AC 1200 Boost EX Wi-Fi Range Extender by an employee, I think it was on a sale.

I have no clue how to use this, my Wi-Fi Router provided by the ISP is on the second floor, tucked away, and I spend most of my time down stairs or outside.

How would I use these devices to improve my internet connectivity at home??

I am not that tech savvy as you ladies and gentleman.

Thank you,
James

What type of Internet connection do you have? (Ex: ADSL, Cable, WISP)

The Linksys router's WAN\Internet Port connects to the ISP Modem\Router LAN port, connect to the Linksys router via Ethernet cable and then you open the router's WebUI in a browser, link below:

For the Linksys range extender plug it in and have it in the same room as the Linksys router for initial setup. The Linksys range extender will broadcast a setup SSID which you connect to wirelessly from a computer. When connected to the setup SSID you open the below link in a browser to configure the range extender.
