So after the recent asd memory leak fiasco, I added a thumb drive to my AC5300 and created a swap drive there. I went to edit /etc/fstab, and found an empty file, so now I'm wondering whats the right way to add the swap on reboot and make sure it happens AFTER the USB drive is automounted. Some searching seemed to imply there was something in the UI to set this up, but I haven't found it.

Bonus question: Anyone have a trick to get an email/sms alert when the system starts swapping (which typically means something bad is happening)

Forgot the mention the obvious.... Just run amtm from the SSH command line and select option i and then sw to create a swap file that's automatically mounted at boot time.
