Are they running without being enabled in the GUI?
Check in console:
ps -T
ps -w
nmbd is running for NetBIOS
aicloud I am not sure.

You can't, not in the sense of a regular Linux distro. Services are controlled by the rc superdaemon, and they are started/stopped based on configurations.
Samba will start if you enable USB sharing and/or Master Browser/ WINS Server. AiCloud will start if you have enabled any of the AiCloud services.
