Have installed Optware, and then installed nano (text editor) and htop (process viewer) successfully.
Am fairly sure RMerlin has installed the functional core of Samba 3.6.24. Anyone know the minimalist way to install and run the
smbstatus
program, without screwing up or conflicting with whatever parts of Samba 3.6.24 that Merlin has provided? Would like to use "smbstatus" command at Linux prompt, to, well, look at Samba connections (file shares) status. And really don't want to install anything else that is not needed to run the "smbstatus" program.
