How to reload ctf module without reboot.

New Around Here
Hi,

I am trying to solve a CTF caching issue without rebooting the router. See problem here:
https://www.snbforums.com/threads/weird-vlan-behavior-with-ctf-enabled-disabled.44764/

TLDR: CTF caching causes a weird problem with vlan where a device needs to stay with the first vlan it is connected to in order for internet to work. Changing mac address on connection can sometimes mitigate the problem.

I believe that by reloading the CTF module it may clear up the cache and mitigate the issue somewhat.

I tried the following which is followed by a speedtest:
modprobe -r ctf && modprobe ctf

However top -d1 reveals that in a ~230 mbps speedtest the cpu SIRQ usage shoots up indicating CTF is loaded but not actually in use.

Can anyone share how to reload ctf module properly on the fly?

Thanks.

You can't. A reboot is necessary when enabling or disabling CTF support.
