How to use Wireguard on Asuswrt-Merlin

Hi guys
I'm currently using OpenVPN on Asuswrt-Merlin 386.7 but would really like to have Wireguard.
My Asus router: RT-AX88U
So my question is, does this firmware support Wireguard at the moment or will it be implemented later?

The thread pointed to by @Mutzli is quite long - but the Wireguard addon works well. And, both the author (@Martineau) and another forum member (@ZebMcKayhan ) support it very well!

Works great. I am running a Site-to-Site (AX88U <-> AX86) and even have a few clients on the AX88U.

Give this new firmware dated 30 August 2022 for the RT-AX88U a try-should have the ability to setup Wireguard through VPN Fusion: https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/wireless/RT-AX88U/FW_RT_AX88U_300438820518.zip
