Indicator Lights Control

I was watching the following video about the RT-N66U and at 14:24 he mentions that the leds in the front of the router are controllable by the user through the firmware.

Is this correct? If so, please let me know how to do this, since now the lights illuminate the whole house !!!

I was surprised myself when I heard about this :D. I think it was an option that was planned but never completed. I have asked around about this and it doesn't seem like the feature was ever implemented. I even have an early version of the GUI and it is nowhere to be found. I'll see if I can find JJ from the video :rolleyes:.
 
Yes, that would be a nice feature if ever implemented. For now I'll just place photographic tape over the lights, they are pretty bright and after everything is running you hardly look at them in detail but get the light.
