Logitech announced Pop Home Switch, a smart home accessory button that can control a variety of other vendors’ smart home products.

The button uses three possible presses, including single, double or long presses. Pop Home Switch can be programmed to perform a variety of actions including turning lights off/on, playing music playlists, or locking doors.

Using the Logitech Pop Android or iOS app, customers can individually assign devices to a Pop Home Switch, or use recipes to trigger complex combinations of smart devices into action.

Combining the Pop Home Switch with Logitech’s Harmony hub-based remote extends the switches range of supported products by adding the hub’s pool of supported entertainment products.

Available in August in two different packages, the Logitech Pop Home Switch Starter Pack will retail for $99.99, and the Logitech Pop Add-On Home Switch will retail for $39.99.

My question is it a BT button, a Wifi Button, Zwave or Zigbee, or Proprietary .... its not very clear in the product spec page what it uses...
