MAC address filtering interface problem

Nuelan

Occasional Visitor
Hi,

The firmware version is 380.64_2 on AC87U.

When I go to "Wireless MAC Filter" tab, I have a list of MAC addresses rejected. When I want to remove one from the list, I delete it by clicking the minus button on the right of it. This remove the corresponding address from the list. The problem is that after, when I click the "Apply" button below, nothing happens. Even if I hit TAB and select the "Apply" button with the keyboard and hit enter, nothing happens. I tried to reboot but it did not solve it. Any advice?

just a question more than advice ? why are you using mac address filtering in the first place as it holds no value as a security measure as the mac addresses are transmitted not encrypted and anyone can detect and clone said mac addresses and bypass its function , if you have wpa2 wireless security thats a far more powerful tool security wise

are you trying to stop ppl accessing the wifi or stop them accessing the web once they have connected to the wifi ?

I had a few MAC addresses on my network that I could not identify. It happens that one is just a Kindle device, connecting once in a while. That's why I want to remove it now from the list but I can't...
