That 5.23s explains the problem, especially when curl is using a 3 second timeout. Why do you think Google DNS is so slow? Do you live in a remote area?

Recently upgraded to T-Mobile Fiber at 2g / 2g. There were a few setup issues. Requested a static IP but speeds dropped significantly and am now back on CGNAT.

Resolving your slow DNS issue is off-topic for this thread, but I would like to see everyone abolish the --connect-timeout 3 from their scripts.

First off, I would like to thank everyone for the help and pointing me in the right direction.

I tried Cloudflare DNS with even worst timing results.

Next, I went back to the ISPs DNS. Originally it was awful. Fortunately, it now works as expected.

That allowed the script to install as expected.

Issue resolved...

Resolving your slow DNS issue is off-topic for this thread, but I would like to see everyone abolish the --connect-timeout 3 from their scripts.

This made me sit up... what would you suggest doing instead? Perhaps --fail ?

There are so many curl options, it’s hard to say. 3 seconds is too quick. And no one knows what’s happening because many scripts silence errors with the s option.

For some reason after a factory reset and readding the add on, the presets are missing for some reason?

Presets are not part of the final release. The beta had sample presets during the initial release, but were dropped before the last couple of beta updates.

The reasoning was, I didn’t want to wipe out anyone’s favorites they may have created during an update.

Just a quick report, when updating from 1.0.2 to 1.1.0 via amtm, ms menu, (4) update, (e), then straight back into the WebGUI, System Log, I am not sure if it was a refresh issue or what but ModsSyslgUI was not there. I went back out to amtm again, into ms, (7), (e) then the WebGUI was back. Was a bit odd.

Also expected to see some example presets but understand the reasons not to and easy enough to create one.

I just tried it a couple of times on my end, and wasn't able to recreate the issue, but will keep an eye out. I thought I recall you may have encountered that same issue on the first release, or am I remembering wrongly?
