NAS Setup/Individual File Sharing

New Around Here
Hi, I work at a small business, and we currently use iDisk as cloud storage and to share files (music, photos, documents) to our clients and business partners. This is really easy through iDisk since you can send a link via e-mail to the people you want so they can download the file/folder you want to share without them having access to the rest of your files.

Now, since they are phasing out iDisk, I need to find us another place to store our files. While I am relatively tech savvy and enjoy getting my hands "dirty" so to speak when figuring this stuff out, the rest of my office is not.

I figured NAS would be an easy way for us all to store files on the network and would be cheaper than any other cloud services out there in the long run. But I also need to be able to share individual files or folders with relative ease, like by sending a link to download them, but without having to upload them anywhere else or deal with stupid file sharing sites.

Is there any way to set something like this up (bear in mind we use mostly Macs here).?

Using the Storage Product Finder on SmallCloudBuilder shows the following cloud storage providers that support Mac OS and have private sharing: SugarSync, Iomega iStorage, Box.net, Dropbox and others, with reviews for each.
