NAT Loopback and OpenVPN Client

I noticed that NAT Loopback doesn't work when the openvpn client is running. If I type my DDNS address into an app on a device connected to my network, it doesn't work while the openvpn client is running, but if works if I disable the openvpn client. Is there any solution to this?
