Sorry for that title....
I rent a lot of movie from various streaming services.
Broadband plans are insane expensive where I live, all I can afford is a 70 mbps down / 10 up.
So. My bluray player sony bdp 5100 is used for these vod, and I do need 7 mbps at least to get HD. Usually i get 9, but often the speed drops to 5.
My setup: Asus n66u ---> 20 /twenty /meters/ cat 5 cable ----> Zyxel GS-108 S / green high prio out --> a short 50 cm cat 6e cable --> Sony 5100.
My Q. Need for speed. I dont care if every other "gadget drops off net"
-- what counts is that my Sony bluray gets every byte available!
Any input and suggestions how to fine tune my asus router/ Zyxel switch is so very much welcome. I reckon my cables is OK. Is my up speed of 10 mbps a tad slow??
