Backup options include a centralized model that uses NETGEAR’s ReadyCloud to protect PC and Macs, a DR model that backs up data to a secondary ReadyNAS at the block level, and a cloud backup option that synchronizes to storage services including AWS, Amazon Cloud Drive, Google Drive and Dropbox.
The ReadyNAS 2312 runs on an Intel Atom C3000 processor, includes four GbE ports, and supports up 40 hi-def IP cameras. The ReadyNAS OS uses BTRFS for its file system, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60, as well as other data protection solutions like Netgear’s XRAID.
Last but not least, ReadyNAS 2312 is compatible with NETGEAR’s Insight management solution – a newly introduced app-based framework designed to simplify network deployment and support of compatible NETGEAR products.
The 1U 12-bay NETGEAR ReadyNAS 2312 is available now and has an MSRP of $1599.99, diskless.
