New 86U

Got an 86U today and getting ready to put Merlin on it. 384.4_2. What file do I use? I don't see a TRX file in the folder, only a W file? Is this it?

Unzip the folder , all will be revealed , or re-download you didn't get full package ?

The HND platform uses a different firmware format from the others. So for the RT-AC86U, the .w extension is normal.

Yeah, I read that. I'm coming from a N66U. So fresh router is new to me.
