Just replaced my RT-AC3100 with an GT-AX11000. Stock firmware 3.0.0.4_388_24198-g380c137 (newsest) shows 1 USB 3.0 drive and 1 USB 2.0 drive on the network map page. When I load either the regular or ROG version of Merlin 3004.388.4.0 I have 2 USB 2.0 drives even though the router setting for the drive is 3.0. Going back to stock and the USB 3.0 drive is back. Is this intentional or is something wrong?

Strange my AX1100Pro shows both USB ports using Merlin 388-A.5 and 388.4 I do not use the ROG version
did you reboot after loading the new FW ?

I have both ports but both are showing as USB 2.0. I did reboot manually and have tried clearing NV ram to no avail. When I revert to stock I valve one USB 2.0 and one 3.0 but when I reinstall Merlin I have two USB 2.0 ports.

After some more investigation I think the problem is the menu system of Merlin 3004.388.4.0 since both stock firmware and 3004_388.5_alpha1-gca44a0390d do not have this problem and correctly display one USB 2.0 and one 3.0.

I concur. I had this issue with 388.4 but updating to 388.5-A1 corrected the USB display.
