The G200 is Open Mesh’s first cloud-managed gigabit router, powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT7623A ARM processor and designed to integrate with other products in the Open Mesh ecosystem.
Router-specific features include NAT, DHCP, VPN client and point-to-point, VLAN tagging, deep packet inspection, and QoS. When connected to other Open Mesh products (access points and CloudTrax software), the G200 also adds client management, usage statistics and troubleshooting capabilities.
The G200’s physical configuration has four GbE LAN ports (two of which are passive PoE), one GbE WAN port, one SFP WAN port, and a USB 3.0 port.
A62’s features include a built-in firewall, bandwidth management, outage alerts, device fingerprinting, and can support up to four SSIDs, seamless roaming, and has automatic feature and firmware upgrade capabilities. Performance-wise, the A62 is max rated at 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps for both 5 GHz bands, with each band using 2 streams apiece.
Physical interfaces for the A62 includes two GbE ports and a single USB 2.0 port.
The Open Mesh G200 router and S24 switch are available now and priced at $249 and $749, respectively, while the A62 can be pre-ordered for $225, with shipping scheduled in May.
