Hi, I have a subscription with StrongVPN and have been using its OpenVPN server on the AC68U router (with Merlin firmware). It was working for a very long time when it seems like the DNS (from the VPN connection) wouldn't be assigned suddenly. When using the StrongVPN Desktop Client (a Windows .exe), I'm connected correctly and my connection appears to be from Hong Kong with Hong Kong DNS servers. But when I only use the router settings, my computer still uses Singapore (where I'm located) DNS servers.
I've already set 'Accept DNS configuration' to 'Exclusive'. Also, there's a 'register-dns' parameter in the provided .ovpn file which throws up an unrecognized error in the router's logs. I had to remove the line to get the configuration to work. Any ideas?
