Parental controls not working fully

Hi,

I'm on version 378.51 and have some mobile devices set up with parental controls such that they cut off Internet access at 9pm.

This works, however some traffic still gets through. Possibly connections that were opened before the curfew time. The phone receives notifications to some Internet enabled apps.

Is there anything that can be done to shut these connections down?

Regards,

Gary.

Try disabling NAT acceleration, see if that helps.

Ah thanks will try that. Just read some of the earlier forum posts on the matter which were easier to find searching for "nat acceleration".

It's a shame to have to lose NAT acceleration. I presume there is no way this could be disabled only for clients that have parental controls enabled?

NAT acceleration is done at the router's kernel level. It's not something that can be set "on or off" for specific clients.

parental controll is broken for all devices, or only for n66u/ac66u ?
i can't test this for 87u, but for n66u work like GarySargent write....www not working but eg.minecraft online work without problems ;)
