Port forwarding to a VPN client

New Around Here
Hi guys,

I'm looking for a way to configure port forwarding to a VPN client. I'm running a DSL-N55U router with OpenVPN enabled.

My intended setup looks a bit like this:

RemoteHost (OVPN Client) -> DSL-N55U (OVPN Server) -> Internet

For example, if I hit my DSL-N55U with a packet on port 7890, I'd like that packet to be forwarded to the RemoteHost. This post is the closest I've found to a solution but I don't know if it would work with the ASUS software.

I wouldn't mind adding my VPN Client to the DMZ instead, if that's easier, as the RemoteHost is a router (OPNsense) anyway!

Any advice is welcome - thank you!
