Possible NAS: WD My Book 4 TB with Archer C7?

Hi all!

I have a WD My Book 4 TB. My router/modem setup is Archer C7 V2 hooked to
Motorola SurfBoard SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem. Could someone please guide me or direct me to an existing discussion for setting up a NAS using these. I can use a custom firmware if it's more convenient.
