PPPoE Accessing ADSL Modem

zeus

New Around Here
I have an AC68U running Asuswrt-Merlin - build 378.55.

My ADSL modem is in bridge mode and is connected to the WAN (blue socket) of the 68U and I am successfully connected to the internet with it using the PPoE "WAN Connection Type" .

Is it possible to connect to the modems web GUI?

In my previous non-merlin based but otherwise identical setup the modem was assigned an IP which you could just access in your web browser. This does not seem to be the case with Asuswrt.

Which router are you using in Modem mode?
