I understand that there is an unauthorized chinese fork of merlin with built in clash/v2ray support.

However I'm would rather not use this fork. Is there a way I could get clash installed on official merlin?

Failing that, how should I backup my merlin firmware for restoring if I really have to try the chinese fork?

I've never heard of clash/v2ray but there appears to be a package for it in Entware:
Code:
# opkg info v2ray
Package: v2ray
Version: 4.45.2-1
Depends: libc, libssp, librt, libpthread, ca-bundle
Status: unknown ok not-installed
Section: net
Architecture: aarch64-3.10
Size: 10446013
Filename: v2ray_4.45.2-1_aarch64-3.10.ipk
Description: A platform for building proxies to bypass network restrictions.
