Hey guys, meet the cheapest WiFi 6 router from Asus yet. RT-AX55 is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor. Supports both MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology. Loaded with AiProtection Classic network security powered by Trend Micro. And compatible with Asus AiMesh WiFi system. It comes with 4 Gigabits LAN ports and 1 WAN port. 2 X 2 wireless connection. Having 128MB Flash and 256MB of RAM. How does it perform? Let’s find out…

Looks like something from Linksys...lol.

All routers have strengths and weakenesses, including AX3000/58. Personally, I find AX55 sufficient for my needs after running n66u for almost a decade on Tomato and then John's fork, and didn't feel the need to upgrade all that much until this cheap and yet powerful router showed up. Not everyone wants (or able) to spend hundreds of dollars on something shiny every year lol
