Ty. But why do you need roaming enabled for a router based modem?

hmm, thats quite easy, it's a virtual providert, there is the need of roaming for a connection. there is no option in the gui of the router to activate roaming.
another usb modem I tried with hilink works fine so far, but some pages won't work because of double natting :/
I am really stuck :/

Can the USB modem be configured if connected to a computer, instead of the router?

yes, it's working, but the roaming option is software based.

If the setting doesn't 'stick' when roaming is set on the computer (and the modem is put into the router), then you may need another modem.

Maybe someone else can provide further instructions.
