Router VPN client - http Web server

Can anyone help with this setup

I have a web server running behind the ac-88, with port forwarding to the server, all works fine.

Now I connect the router to a vpn client so all traffic behind router is going through vpn.

But while connected to the vpn, the outside world can no longer connect to the http server.

Is there anyway I can keep this http server open to the outside while still having vpn client connected?

Hello, I have the same problem but with the router FTP server (AC58U).
Without vpn client, I can connect to the FTP, but when I active the vpn client, I can't connect to the ftp.
